Project Coordinator
Andrea Pestarino got his Mechanical Engineering Master Degree in 2004, having studied in Università degli Studi di Genova, Genova, Italy and in Linkopings Universitet, Linkoping, Sweden.
During the first five years of his career, he worked in the automotive sector (Volvo Trucks, Gothenburg, Sweden and Honda Automobili Italia, Verona, Italy), as Technical Trainer. The main role was the organization and management of training sessions for technical staff on new technologies and on new research programs. He was in charge for defining the training programme, to prepare the training materials and to perform training lectures.
He joined D’Appolonia in 2008 and he is now Unit Manager of the Technology Strategy and Product Roadmapping Unit. The main technical activities are those of a Project Manager. The projects Andrea Pestarino is involved in are both industrial consultancy projects and European co-funded research projects (especially in FP7-NMP-FoF). In D’Appolonia he is responsible of the overall performance of project, including planning, staff management, costs monitoring and deadlines scheduling. He is also responsible of specific technical tasks, namely: S/T scenario analysis, technical training at customers’s sites on technology Intelligence, Inventive Problem solving, FP7 project management, IPR analysis and IPR protection strategy.
Mr Pestarino is the Project Coordinator of Design for Enterprises.
